Wedding Invitations?
I am mailing out my wedding invitations this weekend. I need to know if you are suppose to send your wedding party and invitation? (ie: maid of honor, best man, brides maid, groomsman)
I had this same question when sending my invitations!
Most resources I saw had varying opinions, so my solution was to send seperate invitations to the members of the wedding party that weren’t immediate family.
For instance, my husband had 3 of his brothers (who still lived at home) as his groomsmen, and his younger sister was my Junior bridesmaid. One invitation was sent to the family.
His two older brothers, who each have families of their own, were sent seperate invitation which included THEIR families.
My cousins who acted as bridesmaids each recieved their own invitations, as neither of them lived at home.
Basically, if the invitation inculdes the entire household, it is acceptable to send only one to that address, as long as it is clear that the invitation encompasses the entire family.
