Kath…. I have 2 daughters who had May weddings. The first one was married May 7, ’05 & used real flowers. The second one was married May 3,’08 & used silk flowers. The silk flowers were so much easier & a lot cheaper. I spent about $400.00 for the silk as opposed to $1000.00 for the real ones. We went to Michael’s for the flowers & they were beautiful. The grooms grandmothers thought they were real & one put her corsage in water to keep it fresh & the other put it in the frig. I’m planning my last wedding for another daughter in Nov. Again, we’re using the silk flowers from Michael’s
