It’s all about the weight of the paper in pounds. Paper comes in things like 30lb paper which is about as sturdy as brown craft paper. Regular printer paper is 24lb. Card stock is 65lb. Go to the scrabooking store and find a paper that fits what you want and you will know what poundage you want.

Also consider your budget. Things like extra inserts, having a square envelope as opposed to the regular size, and using heavier paper all add to your postage costs.
