How can I create my wedding ceremony back drop?
I am getting married in a pavilion. For the ceremony I would like to create a small back drop like a sheer white curtain. Pull it in in the middle, add a bow and flowers. My problem i the pavilion is 12ft high and most curtains only reach 10ft. I think it would probably look dumb if it didn’t go clear to the ceiling. If it did not go clear to the ground and it was windy that day it may blow in on us. Does anyone have any ideas how I could get the backdrop from the floor to ceiling. Keep in mind cheap is key I am not spending thousands and thousands of dollars on the wedding. Thanks!
You could get some tulle, and make your own curtains. It would be slightly stiffer than a sheer curtain, but I think it would look good and it would be fairly cheap. This website:

has 40 yards for $26. And I believe it’s pretty cheap at any fabric store also if you didn’t want to order online. To make 4 12 foot panels, you would only need 16 yards. Then, just sew a casing at the top of each, or you could even use craft glue if you don’t sew. Then group 2 together on each side, and pull them apart like you said and I think it would look great!
