What can I do with all the beautiful flowers my boyfriend has given me?

Someone told me long ago that they saved the petals from all the flowers her boyfriend had given her while they were dating, to use them for a specific purpose later on, possibly at their wedding. I can’t remember what she wanted to use the rose petals for. What are some suggestions? (I already know I can use them in the bed/bath, make potpourri, or let the flower girl at my wedding throw them… I’m looking for something else. I don’t want to dry them, I want to use them for a purpose. Thanks in advance!)

When my sister got married, my mom took all of the roses that my brother-in-law had given to my sister (the actual roses, not just the petals), and attached them to a wreath with florist wire. It made a very pretty decoration in my sister’s house and was a nice way to preserve the flowers. You could do the same, or if you wanted to use them in the wedding, you could make them into 3 small wreaths to put around the bottom of your unity candle and tapers during your ceremony.
