Suggestions for colors for wedding in October in Colorado?

I am getting married in October 2008 in Colorado in a church and just beginning to plan. I will definitely wear an ivory or off-white gown. My bridesmaids include 2 very fair skinned girls and 2 girls with Asian coloring. Any shade of orange or olive green will not work for them. I would love to do a warm yellow or gold, with yellow, ivory & copper toned flowers, but no one wants yellow The groom & groomsmen are wearing navy blue suits. I have thought about red but maybe that is “too 2007″? Everyone keeps suggesting a lapis blue but maybe that will be too much blue for the photos? Would appreciate any ideas to get me going!

Golds, burgundys, browns, coppers, dark pinks and oranges (like a burnt orange or dark shade) would work and compliment your dress. Even if you went with a blue, yet say a midnight blue (so it has a satin sheen) & you can add say silver or gold accent colours in the jewellry would be stunning. Even the flowers with any of those colours would be in season (which can save you $$) is also a benefit.
