professionally printing wedding invitations?

I’m a graphic designer (entering my last year of school). I’d like to get into designing wedding invitations and stationary of that nature. As a student, I haven’t been exposed to much printing techniques. I usually go to Kinko’s or Copy Max. I’d like to put myself out there to volunteer to design invitations but I’m not sure where to send them to get things printed, or if I should print them myself for them. I really like the look of the letterpress, and think that that kind of thing would be suitable for many of my designs but I have a feeling that would be too expensive.
Is there websites that can give me good quality prints that aren’t extremely expensive?
And if I was to charge couples for the invitations, without the cost of print, how much should I expect?

You should work at $15 / hour since you are just beginning and then set a price for each job independently. I charge a $75 fee for artwork only. Their are many good websites that provide quality products. Sky is the limit. Staples is your best bet online or Kinkos.
